Anyone interested in doing a CAR trackday?

Basic membership based on yearly calender: $45

Newbies - This is the first timer/beginers group. You will learn the basics of high performance driving. Instructors will work with you all the time to get you up to speed with others of your level. No passing is allowed. Once you have mastered this level and a instructor has signed you off you can advance to the Bronze group.

$225 per day or two day weekend $425(Limited to 20 seats per day)

Bronze - The bronze group is for drivers with limited track experience or those that have advanced from the Novice Group. Drivers in the Bronze Group will work under the direct supervision of an instructor. An instructor may ride along if asked by the student or an instructor may request to ride long with any driver in this group. Driver may lap on their own if the instructor directs them to. No passing is allowed. If a Bronze Group driver gets slowed behind traffic they will pull into the hot pit area and then a track official will place them onto the track in an area where they have more room to run. Sessions will be controlled with flags.

$200 per day or two day weekend $375(Limited to 20 seats per day)

Silver – The Silver Group is for drivers that have advanced from the Bronze Group or drivers with several track days experience. Passing is allowed in designated areas and all passing must be completed before a point marked with cones. Sessions will be controlled with flags.

$175 per day or two day weekend $325(Limited to 20 seats per day)

Gold - The Gold group is a run group where you go out and work on your skills and build seat time all by yourself. Passing is allowed in designated areas or when pointed by. You can run in this group with your piers as long as you like. If you wish to learn how to teach others between sessions while building seat time you can become an instructor and run for free.

$175 per day or two day weekend $325(Limited to 15 seats per day)

Race Group - This is a group for approved race license drivers. Race cars only that are ASA, SCCA, FIA or NASA, HSRA approved.

$175 per day or two day weekend $325(Limited to 15 seats per day)

Instructor - In this group you run for free for fun, build your skills and instruct in the other groups. Instructors run with the Gold or race group.

Groove Union Package Deal

12 days for $ 2000 + $45 Membership.

General Preparation for Groove Union
We recommend you arrive at the track early to ensure you can ready yourself and your car in a calm relaxed manner. Please make sure that you have remove all excess items from your car before you leave home and arrive at the track with a full tank of gas and your tires with the correct amount of air as stated in your drivers manual. We do not inspect car for safety or track fitness. This is the responsibility of you the owner. If you wheels have been remove recently for tire or brake repairs please insure that your wheels have been re-torqued.

Track Day Schedule*
8:00 AM Classroom session. Mandatory for Novices but all participants welcome to monitor. Novice group to report to the exercise area in paddock immediately after classroom introduction session.


8:30 AM Drivers Meeting. All participants except the novice drivers are required to attend. Failure to attend may lead to exclusion from the event.
9:00 Race Group
9:20 Gold
9:40 Silver
10:00 Bronze
10:20 Novice
11:40 Race Group
11:00 Gold
11:20 Silver
11:40 Bronze
12:00 Novice
12:20 Race Group
12:40 Gold
1:00 Silver
1:20 Bronze
1:40 Novice
2:00 Race Group
2:20 Gold
2:40 Silver
3:00 Bronze
3:20 Novice
3:40 Race Group
4:00 Gold
4:20 Silver
4:40 Bronze
5:00 Novice

honestly, we had a Taurus SHO put the smack down on several cars like a GTO and a vette a few weeks ago lol

no trucks(of course lol)

Really any car thats not going to leak all over the track, not going to fall apart at turn 1.lol

all you need is a helmet(which everyone here already has one lol)

lol well mine is an 00 SE so i dont think it would perform aswell

That would be fun. Unfortunately I got rid of the 1963 Mini Cooper track car a few years back so now I use my motorcycle for the track and my car as a daily driver.

It will be a few more years but I will eventually have another car for the track.
