Questions about Eagles Canyon

A group of 4 of us are going to EGR on the 5th. We havent been there before and have a couple questions.

1) What is a decent hotel in the area, any info would be great.

2) Is there power in the pits for tire warmers, fans, etc.?

3) Is there any shade in the pits or are Easy-Ups the way to go?

Thanks,
The Bee

We stayed at a Best Western in Decatur I believe it was, and no... no power; your gonna need a generator. And lastly you'll also need an EZ-up, there is zero shade up there... but it's an awesome track!

There is no power, or shade, so bring your generators and EZ ups.
We stay at the Days Inn in Decatur. http://www.daysinn.com/DaysInn/contr...opertyId=30164

It's reasonable and clean. I think it's about $79 a night.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

no problem! There are clean showers at the track, and camping is allowed for those who are interested. Are you making a weekend out of it? We offer a 2 day discount, as well as a racers discount, so you can get upwards of 20% off of the 2nd day.

No we can only do the 5th. Not racers, anymore.
I understand the hotels in Decatur are filling up so we'll see where we wind up.
