yeah I saw that guy a few times

Waaay too much fun! I don't think I've had that much fun on a small displacment bike in the longest time!

If only my shoulders would heal up I'd love to get the 250 out on a tighter track, I must say Kawasaki after some 25+ odd years finally did get it right! This bike has alot of clearence (pegs/exhaust/you name it), compared to the older model.

I took the class with him...He starts on the inside through one...trail brakes until he's midtrack before 2 (where the slick patches were) and then apexs 2 where the raised inside curbing begins in 2...Ty said he was sliding all around through 1-2.

This was another great day. Unfortunately, they did some work on the track the day before, and must have laid patches of sealer that were too thick.
So T1 started off in the morning being decent, but by the time the temp hit upper 90s, the stuff became like jello.
I myself did not notice any other areas on the track where the sealer would affect my lines. T6 was awesome, as usual. Saw some ride off the track there but that was because they did not set up the corner right, then ran out of space. Nothing serious though. Most crashes did take place in lev 4, then some in lev 2, with fewest in lev 1.

Overall, the day was great. I hope you all enjoyed the out of it. Hope TWS (Texas World Speedway) people will fix those patches for us.

from what i saw in turn 6 run-offs were, 1 setup the turn wrong (turned in too late and was going too fast tried to lean it and low sided)
rest just either rolled off the throttle and drifted wide or target fix. on the outside and thats were they went

Yea that was me. I was'nt trying to drag a knee I was trying to break in the motor, it was a brand new bike. I'm also recovering from dislocated shoulderS, and on the team bike (Green 636), it just hurt too much getting low in the turns, so I was practicing on the 250 to get my shoulder in race/body position as I'd like it to.

So it was you in T6 with the camera.

Sure post the pictures up, or just shoot em to me ( aghamurtaza87@hotmail.com ).

Would greatly appreciate it.

That was me on the Kawsaki #339. Level 5 told me you had some pictures of me. It would be great to see them, if you could send me a link or email me mbdwta@verizon.net. Thanks

man that was a great day, but boy did it start to get hot. Some guys in Level 2 were getting in the classes so you could tell the heat was on. It was funny. Anyway got another thumbs up by the instructors telling me to move up to level 3 so next time I'll be riding with Ty then. I don't think I got passed once when I was on the go unless by an instrutor or under yellow when I slowed down. Way to much traffic and bunching up though. I would get some great drives through the first few corners after passing the slower peeps on the straight, but then by turn 6 or 7 I would get stuck behind a slow group of riders that it would screw up my lap times and my pace. Kind of aggrevating at times, but oh well I was there to have fun and that's what I did. Lots of pretty bikes out and thanks slo rider for stoping by to hang out for a while. Maybe next time you'll be joining us. We got enough tents for you to fit under
Anyway had fun with all you guys and yes turn 1 sucked. I was taking the inside line myself keeping my speed down, but after clearing most of it I was able to pick my speed up enough that I was dragging knee through turn 2 drifting out to the edge of the track. Like others said the rest of the track was great! I'm always slow in turn 5 and 6, but I finally found the correct lines there, but ran out of steam in the later sessions of the day to stay focused enough to run faster. To bad because that's when the track seemed to clear up the most.
Anyway see ya next time.
