i suppose that whole "getting blown up by suicide bombers" and "killed in the act of duty" thing has absolutely nothing to do with that, right? please. come back with some real numbers.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the numbers are somewhat due to returning from active duty and the adjustment back into a lower risk and less adrenaline filled environment. So, the bike brings back the familiar adrenaline and gets many of them over their heads before they are ready.

Thank you, I'll be on Dr. Phil in two weeks to coach him to reality as well.

after the first year in afghan, more soldiers were killed on moto's then at the front lines. real enough?

and yeah that has alot to do w/ it, so. they still die in huge # cuz of bikes and alky is involved in a higher % then civilian deaths as well.

my mistake, it was the first 5 yrs of the afghan war

" More servicemen died in motorcycle accidents from 2001 to 2006 than were killed in the corresponding first five years of the war in Afghanistan."

Yea but if they do it in a percentage type of statistic... Think about it, the military is a lot smaller than the civilian world and you if put up a percentage military to civilian its obviously gonna be higher...

so wheres the part that says servicemen have the highest percentage of death rates amongst motorcyclists? and besides, isnt MSF required for servicemen?

on another note: doing a stunt show to promote safety seems kinda like eating sugar to lose weight. i would think that it would show the soldiers "hey look what you can do!"
