I haven't had any problems like that. If you are someone I know (especially someone who rides) you could sit on it any time you want. But if I came out and saw a complete stranger then there's a problem.

yeah, great way to keep the job! lol. I'm pretty chilled out, i just was irritated. I decided i'm getting one of those $179 Gorilla alarms that sense motion and page you and go off etc.

I think it would be worth it to scare a kid off that could cause $$$ in damage by dropping it.

I might invest in an alarm just to be sure. I just don't like the idea of having to spend money and having the inconvenience just because people can't keep their hands to themselves. I was already in a foul mood at work today, so I called a mini conference in the hall to call out the people who I've caught and to discuss not messing with my bike when I drive to work.

Hopefully they will leave it alone and you won't end up with something broken, scratched or flat.

I had a guy once sit on it at my job. He was a Lead Man for another shop not mine. I told Him " Is this Toys-r-us?" He Said No. I said, Then Get The F**k Off My Bike!

Another time this chick got on my baby and I was already in a bad mood. I told her are you outside a super market? Does this look like a merry go round? Do you see a coin slot? Buy This time she was walking away. LoL!!!

I've been waiting for something like this forever! Doesn't seem like it would be that difficult to make the handlebars live when the alarm is on.

I've never caught anyone doin this to my bike, nor have I seen signs that this has taken place in my absence. I keep her in gear just in case, but yeah if I walk out and your on my bike you better be able to run faster than me b/c my lid can turn into a weapon real fast!

I totally agree it is a bunch of . My wife one time told these people sitting on my chopper that my husband belongs to the banditos and he will probably kill you for sitting on his bike. The yankees eyes got real big and got off rather quickly. My wife really cracks me up sometimes.

Another funny story I have a friend that is HUGE 340lbs of muscle. Looks like he could be a pro wrestler. Anyway some dude was sitting on his bike downtown Austin and he told him to get off and and just looked at him. Well the next time he asked him to get off he backhanded so hard it threw him 4 or 5 ft from the bike. The guy just layed on the ground pointing to his ears...he was deaf. I would have felt sorry for him but you don't sit on someones bike without permission or you deserve to get your handed to ya.
