Nason paint (basecoat/clearcoat), cheap Harbor Freight HVLP gun, Craftsman 30gal compressor. It's E-racing bodywork and a race bike so I didn't take the time to fill in every single pin hole in the bodywork (only about 3-4 pin holes in the final paint). The sorry thing is that I ran out of clear and needed enough for one more coat on the upper. A couple spots on the upper (where the cut-outs are) the clear is thin but only noticeable up close. Next time I'll do better.

Not bad for a first job. Definetly has some orange peel, but who cares on a trackwhore. It'll look great from the stands which is all that really matters!
A motorcycle is a joy machine. It's a machine of wonders, a metal bird, a motorized prosthetic. It's light and dark and shiny and dirty and warm and cold lapping over each other; it's a conduit of grace, it's a catalyst for bonding the gritty and the holy.
