Cool Got some questions!!!

Hey im new here and i was just wondering...

I just ordered my new Akrapovic Full exhaust for my 07 Gsxr600 if i take out the baffles will it take away from the performance??

And i live in the Memorial/ Spring Branch area is anyone down to ride around here? We have about 6 riders already and lookin for more.

The baffle is for sound reduction only, and you actually lose a little power with it in there.

Either way you run it, make sure you get your bike dyno-tuned to optimize performance! Andy at MetricMotorcycles.com did mine, and I was very pleased...

Why would you want to take out the baffles? If I spent that much money for an exhaust system, I certainly wouldn't want to destroy it.

High performance exhausts, especially something like Akarapovic, are designed to perform optimally with all the components in and working properly. Actually, Akarapovic recommends repacking the muffler after so many hours of use...

no dont touch it it cost more for a reason if its loud u want thewn take the exhaust off if its perfrmnce u want spemd the money on the exhuast and enjoy

The "baffle" he is talking about is the 6" long tube that inserts/removes from the end cap and reduces noise... it is included with the pipe but Akra says it "slightly reduces power".

I am new to the GSXR's, but I don't think I'm a squid!

BTW... I have the same pipe... I bought it to lose weight, not really for the small HP gain.
