Sure isn't practical at all, mostly not even fun, but I hate driving. Fug a car when it rains, umbrella and the metro, or a poncho and a bicycle.

ive went about 6 months with just a bike. as far as running errands yeah there is always a way. i found myself just getting a backpack worth of groceries every few days or twice a week, instead of stocking up. same for laundry.

whats sucks though is rain and snow. riding in the rain is a nightmare for me. i plan on buying a POS truck. a small one, just big enough to get the bike in the bed if i need to and ill have it dropped to get the bike in and out easier.

I sold my car this past spring and ran with just the bike for a while. It was fine, I had a tankbag and backpack. However, then I started to do track days and I realized it wasnt practical to go to the track with the bike only considering all the you have to take with you. So I picked up my dad's old farm truck and use it.

got a truck in PA for $700 it drove me and my bike home 1500mi. Made $100 so far lending it out to friends. ~3000 miles have been put on it so far since the purchase. 20+mpg too.

I don't think I could make it with only a bike, I need my 4 vehicles
