When I was in college I lived in Seattle. A ZX7 was my only transportation for 2 years. I rode year round. Rain, snow, ice. I had no choice. I had soft luggage so I did my shopping on my bike as well. There was no internet back then. You could not get things delivered to you like you can now. You learn how to adapt and make due. I always dressed in layers. Invest in good riding gear. When it's hot, you wont be. When it's cold or raining, you'll be dry and warm. Good Gear. Thats the key!!!!

You can always use those ties in the back of your bike, one time I went to Best Buy and bought a Directv receiver, and took it home,no prob.

I have a race car that I theoretically could drive if I ever need it, but I don't. I use my tank bag when I need to bring stuff home, and just avoid carrying large objects if I don't have to.

yeah, i don't care to get out in the rain much.. beh.. its not that i cant do it, i just don't like it. not so much for the discomfort but it always feels like to me that people drive crazier in the rain, speeding in excess, tail gating, i'v had to many close calls to want to get out in the rain period really, but is what you should do is go get a ol' 500 dolla throw back car, disposable cars is where its at, if it breaks down, bah leave it go get another one ;p a bud of mine picked up a old delta 88 for 200 bucks, hes had it for several months now with no problems. i picked up a 90 toyota corola for 500 bucks, power locks/windows a/c blows cold. i said nuts to this 3 dolla a gallon gas in a car that gets 15 miles to the gallon ;p
