I remember buying track take off's from you at one point and time

Granted, they weren't "race" tires, but they were used track tires.

As for my input, go for it....especially if you have the means (or know someone) who mounts and balances cheap. (I think Powersports of Houston change my tires with the rim off the bike for $20)

I ran track take offs for years. If you buy some that have significant wear on the very edge and lots of beef on the center you'll get 1/2 the life...this is my experience. 2500-3000k miles vs. 6k or so on a new tire. Hope this helps.

maybe you're right old age getting me again but I did ride the street on them too....multiple times on multiple tire brands/types. If you are a responsible street rider, most track take offs with significant center tread is a ok in my book
