So the Guy Just Dumps Her in the Road

Took the wife to dinner tonight at The Woodlands. Coming back on Hardin Store Road and as I'm a couple hundred yards from the 4 way stop, I notice a couple bikes coming across the intersection from the opposite direction. Too far to be able to tell much other than the fact that they are bikes. I noticed a headlight flash on one of them, like he lofted the tire a bit coming through the intersection and that's when things got interesting...

One of the bikes pulls off the road and the other makes a U turn and then stops facing the opposite direction in the oncoming lane. I'm still approaching and I tell Deb something's up. As I get a bit closer, I can see a person laying in the road in front of the bike that made the U turn, so I stop in a driveway and walk up to the scene as she's gathering herself and trying to get to her feet in the road. Turns out he dumped her off the back of his Busa going through the intersection.

They get her up and she's staggering around, I'm thinking she's stunned, but turns out she's drunk. The guy that pulled off to the side was riding solo on a cruiser with a helmet and boots, while the guy on the Busa has sunglasses and a reversed baseball cap for protection. The girl (30 something) has on, ready for this? A little T-top, a pair of Daisy Duke cutoffs and flipflops. her main protection was the little backpack she was wearing. So I'm looking her over to try to see if she has any serious injuries, her feet are messed up, she banged and rashed her elbows pretty good and had some more rash in other places. We couldn't figure out if she hit her head or not. Don't think she was feeling it a whole lot between the the adrenalin and booze. Her boyfriend, Mr Chivalrous, says "Oh she just has little road rash is all. I had 15 pins in my leg..." I say to him "That's what gear is for." He says "Huh?" So I elaborate an tell him helmet, jacket, pants, boots... His reply "That's what I told her to Fckin hold on for!". Dumbass that I am, didn't realize that it was her fault that he dumped her off the back of the Busa.

Well after some cursory diagnostics, he decides that they probably shouldn't continue with their trip and decide to head back home, so he gathers up her flipflops and she sticks them back on her bleeding feet and they mount up. As I'm walking back with his buddy, I'm parked next to where he stopped, I told him that he better watch out for them, because I don't think either of them are fit to ride and mad another comment about their lack of gear. He said, he always wears his helmet, which he was (he was also carrying a spare on the bike). Said he told his buddy "Let's just cruise easy" Said that they were planning to ride to lake Conroe, but didn't go 5 minutes before the incident. I bet he'll be looking for a new riding buddy after today.

Pretty amazing what some folks will do riding drunk. I bet she's feeling it now. I hope she (unlikely) or he (totally unlikely) gets a clue before he kills them both. It made for an interesting drive home and at least no one was seriously hurt.

Take a lesson from him guys - If the btch falls off when you pull a wheelie in the intersection, it's HER fault. Guess she's lucky he bothered to turn around.

Sorry I don't have pics. I didn't have the guts to whip out my phone and start snapping photos while we were assessing her damages.

what im curious about is how/where people learn this culture of no gear and sunglasses is ok.

oh and imo, its both their faults. him for being an obvious dipshit for riding drunk with no gear, and her for getting on the bike with him in the first place.

ive always thought chicks who will hop on a bike and go for a ride are cool...they can be, but at some point i realized about half of them hop on because they are self destructive personalities, and they get on a bike with some dillhole for the same reason they get passed out drunk, get hooked on drugs, get pregnant, etc...those are the ones to stay away from!

we can preach all we want but nothing will fix stupid people. except maybe accidents, but that didn't fix the dumbass who dumped the girl.

we might as well just yell at the garage door for all the good it does.

well we know from this that 2 things are true and one thing that is under debate

1) stoopid hurts
2) stoopid is not a handicap and is uncurable short of death

3) its always "her" fault for falling off when driver of the bike does a wheelie

I had a friend that wouldn't let medical clean his wounds...he said, I'll do it when I get home...lol. MRSA and 6 months later pumped with antibiotics he was just getting control of it. I think it was almost a year before it was all gone.

As for the camera thing, I'd have no shame in taking pictures. I saw an idiot on Edgebrook hit a curb while trying to wheelie his new GSXR600 and I busted out the camera and took some shots of his rash and bike as he was being treated. He looked . Not so much at me but the fact that he just crashed.

! Good story Ogre.. +1 to taking pics... I woulda loved to have seen this...
The wifey and I saw a wreck and then the biker get up and give a rant about it being the fault of an oil patch in the road, then there was a rough spot in the road.yada, yada, yada... The guy was just rashed but would live but wouldnt admit he just washed out the front by going too hot into a corner.
And I got to hear the wife go on about how I was going to kill myself one day....yada, yada, yada,,lol
