Wow - lots of NASA folks on here!

Used to be in 600 Gemini. Now I have an office in 595 Gemini, but I usually sit in a lab in MCC (30S). I love having the bike... you can park RIGHT next to the building.

May Bay Area Ford rest in peace. Good thing it isn't there anymore - the temptation was too great. Speaking of which, have you seen the black Z06 on the showroom across the street? Daddy want!

MSOC - Command Server software group under J. Couch and K. Noonan. The parking lot has a Busa, lots of cruisers and a gorgeous yellow Ducati most days.

oh yeah. I was close to buying that red one in that same lot before I got my bike. There is a David B. upstairs in CM. Dan B also sits close to him. I worked with them both. Tell them I said hi when you get a chance. They both ride.

Woot. :-) So, I was doing some calculations for the of it.....

1st tank of gas: 37.3 mpg
2nd tank of gas: 40.3 mpg

At this rate, the difference in gas money alone between the bike and my daily driver ('07 Screw... 13mpg with a tail wind)... is going to PAY for the bike within two years. Unless my math is off. Which is possible... I haven't had any coffee yet.

Or you might have seen one of my other toys... had an '01 Saleen SC and a couple '03 Cobras. Latest is an '07 grabber orange with Saleen s6 blower, among other mods. I've always loved cars, but I think if I had bought a bike when I moved here in '99, it would have saved me a buttload of car money. Anyway, just wanted to say hello.

Later....

Thanks - I've always loved them. It's going to be hard not to switch camps to GM in Feb when that new Camaro hits. I keep reading rumors of an SS model with 505 ponies. Tempted by the dark side...

I'll be in the 4th floor CDE lab (by Peter and Corvis) all next week running regression tests. Feel free to stop by and say hi.
