Mega kuddos deserved here...

I won't mention this person's name (and if you know who it is, you shouldn't mention it either) because I don't want them bombarded with people begging them to "do this for me".

There is a long standing member of this forum that is completely selfless and giving, and promotes everything that is good about motorcycles and track days.

This person works for our track days doing corner work, and donates their hard earned track day credit to other people!

For those of you who don't know, working a full day of corner working at a track day is actually grueling work. They sit out there in the hot sun, sometimes rain, dealing with bugs and other critters, as well as helping our dumb azzes when we toss our bikes down the track!

This person knows who they are, and I just wanted to publicly mention that there are some awesome folks out there in this community- and we're lucky to have them here at MH!

Good on him/her.

The camaraderie among motorcyclists is unparalleled IMO compared to the other hobbies/entusiast activities out there. People always looking out for each other.

There are a few of "those" types around.

Corner working is standing/ sitting in a corner during a race or practice/ school (like a track day) and watching for folks who crash or have an issue on the track and stop. They are the flag waivers and the safety "eyes" on the track for all of the folks out there.

Some orgs will let you exchange your time to corner work for a track day credit. The person mentioned above corner works all day, earns a credit, and then donates it to people they like or they think would benefit from having it. Very discretely, and without trying to draw attention to themselves, just quietly doing really nice things for folks...
