bazzaz traction control computer box?

it's a longshot, but anybody on here tried this? we got some motogp type technology in our reach now......but does it really work? that's what i wanna know.

good stuff about it is it gots all the capabilities of a power commander and ignition module. just add the quickshifter and it'll be complete.

ZFiTC

A DESCRIPTION FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS PRODUCT.

Z-Fi TC Option

The Z-Fi TC (Traction Control Unit) has all of the same features as the Z-Fi QS with the addition of user adjustable traction control.

The Z-Fi TC brings traction control technology from the highest levels of professional racing down to the average racer. The Z-Fi TC does not require any additional sensors to be mounted to the bike, and is fully legal for AMA Super Sport and Super Stock competition.

Countless hours of racetrack testing and tuning were used to distill the complicated nature of this technology into a simple and intuitive tuning interface using the Z-Fi software. Traction control is easily adjusted by Throttle Position, RPM, and Gear to suit any track or riding condition. Adjustments on the fly can be made with an optional TC adjust switch, making tuning even more simple.

All the same features of the Z-Fi QS

State of the art Traction Control technology for faster lap times

Adjustable by Throttle Position, RPM, and Gear for optimal performance under all riding conditions

Intuitive software interface for easy tuning

Uses stock sensors only, AMA Super Sport and Super Stock legal

All Products are for Closed Race Course Use Only.

i remember hutch told me about it before, and i stumbled across it again.....but for the price tag...it better do something good

what got me thinkin was....if these ama or even motogp guys can still highside their bikes....to what extent are these things worth? if it can reduce highsides by a high percentage, i would think the $1000.00 msrp isn't that bad of an investment.

Since you race CCS and CMRA, you may want to check if it is legal, but again you prolly checked that already

I have read good things about it around the net and on other forums, but it sounded like availability was an issue. Not sure if that is still a problem or not, guessing not...

Let us know how it goes if you pick one up.

It was asked of the BOD, and iirc, they said it was fine. They likened it to a steering damper or other safety pieces.

Personally, I think it's like any bit of equipment that "saves you from yourself"; it's there if you need it, but I wouldn't want to "try" to use it (kinda like Bubba mentioned).

I'd like to get the fuel control unit with the O2 sensor for real time fuel mapping.

There were a few guys at Hallett with it, and they said it seemed to kick in pretty soon....like too soon even on the lowest setting. It pretty much cut the knuts off of the bike. I think they made it "dummy proof" for the masses. The AMA/motogp unit I am sure is more adjustable.

Is that like Stoner going WOT at the apex and letting the computer do the work?

More like my regular customers that race in the CMRA, trying to come off the corner hard esspecially on 1000's. The TC would kick in too soon and actually kill their drive out of the corner. Most of the guys started turning it off and running it old school style.

Yeah, him and every other MotoGP racer out there!

Don't get me wrong, they have tons more talent in their little finger than I have at all, but they all use traction control, wheelie control, and other computer controls to ride those bikes.

Good to get some more indepth feedback on this product overall. I would have thought it would allow more adjustment than being forced to just go without it.

My comment about Stoner was just a smartass remark. I understand all the riders have the various controls. I have no false security with my riding skills and know I'm nothing special compared to most, but it just always looked to me like Stoner went out once he hit the apex and didn't leave any throttle control to his own brain. I didn't notice other riders doing it as much, but maybe I am just focusing on his throttle input more than others after coming to that conclusion.
