was my knee worth not letting her fall

I know the title sounds more interesting then it is... yesterday, when waxing my chain ( i dont have a dog stand so I do it the old school way wax move up a little wax repeat.) the bike was on a downhill and one of the times i walked to the back I heard it sliding forward so I jumped to the bars and grabed the bike just before it tuches the ground.
Saved the bike but kneed the out of my back pegs and busted open my knee; looks nasty today.
The way I look at it... my knee will heal itself. the bike wont.
