Differences between CBR600RR year models?

What all was changed from 03/04 to 05/06 CBR600RRs other than inverted forks?

i was wondering this myself. Was looking for some kind of model matrix describing the differences.

I have an 03 and am helping my friend with an 05 he is about to buy.

From what i can remember what i saw online is that the 05 is a few pounds lighter and the engine has different tuning compared to the 04.

I'm thinking the same thing. Based on the link posted, there was no change in induction.

EDIT: Yep, it was injected.

both are fuel injected.....just setup differently.

03-04 has conventional forks
05-06 has upside down forks

triple clamp setup for difference in forks, windscreens are different, headlight is different, ram air is different, slight weight difference

That is the best description so far. Other than the forks, the other differences are so small most riders wouldn't even notice. They are so close that I certainly wouldn't get rid of an 03-04 to 'upgrade' to a 05-06.

This is why I ask:

Although such low mileage raises a red flag with me.
