I sell used cars and v6 mustangs SUCK. they do not last past 60k miles. the expense of buying the new car would be better spent enjoying the muscle machine. assuming it has air conditioning that is. I have a 66 chevy truck with no AC. needless to say it only gets driven in tornado weather (all other times Im on the bike).

another thing to consider is if the cost of the new car is worth the 5-10 mpg that you will save since you did not mention if you are selling the 67 or not.

take the v8 and slap a straight six in there. drive that everywhere. that body style isnt exactly as rare as people think unless its a fast back.

that is true.. the coupe is not rare at all and straight six... that would be boring. and time consuming since the engine has not even 100miles on it.

oh come on! boring? youre talking about getting a late model v6 for 's sake! a friggin chick car! but ya, changing engines is a bit time consuming, but given the age it can be done in about a day. just and idea thrown out there to save that fine engine you got there but retain some kind of coolness factor
