Hey, it happens!

I dropped my Ninja 250 in the rain on a wet road once in the middle of traffic. (Jones and 1960!). Applied rear brake at a red light and there it went. (I never used the rear brake when stopping since, hehe.)

I wasn't able to pick up my bike... I did do a drop-and-learn at a friend's house though and went through a bunch of practise lifts until I felt more confident; but, the Ninja has a weird angle and it was still fairly tough to pick up for me. :/:

Always helps to have strong men around to help you pick up the bike!

Now it has the personality that sets it apart from every other bike out there.

First thing I do when I get a bike is kick it over before I even sit on it. That way it is used and abused and I don't have to worry about babying it. JK; that's my excuse.

Most glad to hear you were safe, and sounds like you were focused in the situation and controlled it well... flush mount time!

I have been wanting some carbon fiber clear lens flush mounts but have net been able to find them yet so I will probably pick up a factory blinker until I find what I'm looking for, but deffinately going to pimp it out.

Glad you didn't get hurt rolling off the bike into the other lane and I'm glad there wasn't much damage. I dropped 3 different 250's - 5 times - in my first 150 miles... Lots of bruises, but no big damage. Reminds me I need the engine guards for my V-Max!

Keep it up!
