I don't think you have to have them , i don't have mirrors on my zrx11 and never ticketed for that and have been pulled several times for other things. It does take some getting used to . You look kinda paranoid though always turning around to look .

Especially for Houston, I'd think you'd wanna keep your mirrors. The more, the safer to better your chances of spotting reckless, absent-minded, and/or drunk cagers coming up on your tail.

I had a friend whom hit a trailer and the guy infront of him never knew since he had those pig spotter mirrors. That guy rode all the way back to the woodlands before turning around, going back to BigTexas then finding the bike already being loaded into the back of a truck before he noticed something was wrong.... i like the no mirror look but I'll deal w the parasitic aerodynamic draw from having mirrors(plus my turn signals are modded into them.)
