Anyone down for an urban trials ride?

I've been doing a little bit of urban trials riding lately. Once in a while I have to get a little air between the ground and my sumo. A good open concrete loading dock or a hanicap ramp are nice. Even a set of stairs is cool to as long as you take some headache medicine before you go. Ive heard a lot of people talk about urban trials riding but I cant seem to find anyone that actully does it besides me.

I cant be the only one in the Houston area!!

Anyone up for it?

Well if your not fimiliar with the offroad type trials riding take a search on youtube. These guys jump everything but at a slow pace. If you put your foot down you loose points. I think they even have a bycycle trials also.

I think just getting a few guys together to go jump some curbs and docks and stuff would be intresting. I figured I would post up and see who is intrested.

Wish I knew how. My dad used to do trials competitions all the time back in the day. He has a 1974 Yamaha Trials 250 in the garage that doesn't run anymore. :-(

I'm not thinking of doing competitions, I just want to do it for fun. I think downtown houston would have a lot of climbing and jumping objects. The police may not like it though.

Are you talking about ridding a motard or a real trials bike?

Motard, I couldnt see riding a real trials bike all over town!!! I'm not talking about hard core trials like the pros do. Just some light trials.

Are you talking about that ditch that runs kind of parallel with Center Street and goes under Fairmont, in that area?
