Derek ran these at MSRH, this past Saturday. I think he only got on session on them though.

we really love the 003s

mac took us to msr houston yesterday to try out the track for some sessions.
big thanks to mac and lone star track days.

we'd never seen the track before yesterday and had only heard about the bumps and jumps.
but the tires were sweet and worked great.
we were on the same set that we had last week at cresson.
and i think gabe was on the set that he had on a hallet and cresson.
the 003s are definitely a big improvement.
they're alot more compliant than the 002s also.
john hutchinson was there to help us with technical stuff if we needed it, but honestly, the tires were great all day. we never tweaked the pressures or setup that jimmy cambora and john had us on at msr cresson last week.
big thanks john, you're the best.

for myself, on the race team, i'm the guy that always has to ride third, so that means i'm gonna be on a tire that andy and gabe have beat up on for two or three hours.
or my second session may be on a tire that's been beat up on all day by all of us.
so, personally, i'm always concerned how they're gonna work when they're wore down to nothin'.
the 003s are going to do well in that area, i believe.
they're gonna work well when they're new and they're gonna work well when they're not.
so i love 'em for me... and for the team.

oh yea,.....when we got there larry myers just came in from doing two days of track days in cresson.
he'd been riding, teaching, working, and driving but still took the time to show us around the track.
so, thanks to larry myers for sure.
and thanks to the nice people at msr houston.

Hey Whoop, I ran these at MSRH on Saturday for 2 sessions. One slower session to scrub em in and see what they felt like. Then I ran them in the second to last session you were leading with a long train of guys following. No lap times.

I love the 003s so far! I raced on em at Hallett then went to Cresson and now Houston. As Mark said it was our first time there and first time to even look at the track map. I got down to a 41.5 and the tires felt great. I wasnt working on going as fast as I could since Im a little injured right now. We were more concerned with learning which way the track went.
John was there to help and answer any questions we came up with. Jimmy C was on call for the same reason. But the tires and bikes felt great every lap.
