Exclamation Moto GP Kawasaki NEEDS New Riders

Cause Hopper cant stay on the saddle and then you got West.....well he has the positions backwards and thinks Last is First so he's killin the standings if that was the case Maybe time to start pullin people up or maybe dishing a little bit more Money to the equation. Kawasaki only has Two bikes in the running and seem like all they're attention is in AMA :/:

Yeah, Hopper is a rider... it has nothing to do with the fact that his bike is the least developed bike in the paddock and he constantly has to ride on the absolute limit.

How long have you been following MotoGP?

and thanks for proving my point. As i stated Kawasaki needs to throw more money in the equation....all they're focus is in the AMA! And even if you have the crapiest bike out there doesnt mean you low side every race due to come in turns to hot while tryin to make passes that aren't there. I give the guy props, he is 20x better then i probally will ever be but at the same time if you represent a company thats giving you millions (products, endorsements, paycheck etc.) then just try to stay on the bike and rack up SOME points

Yeah they do need new riders.....stir the pot up a little bit. Kawasaki has always b**tched out on they riders for some reason, when they do get a decent rider or team member they get rid of them or they leave (same as the astros unfortunatly lol) but they need to do something cause what they're doin now, either it be the bikes or the riders, it isnt working! Which is my point! you put rossi, lorenzo, dani, edwards etc on the kawasaki bike and i bet they can at least stay on the bike

yeah +- a little. His time around a track would not be 20x better then mine. Even if I had noob skills it would not take me 30 minutes to get around a lap on the track....so yeah 20x times better
And its pretty sad when we cannot have our own opinions on this forum and have a simple conversation without bein threatened or bein call a dumba$$ or bein told to shut the f*ck up. arent we all adults on here?

If Kawi is dumping all their $$ into AMA it is news to me. Hopefully they aren't because no one but Suzsucki has won an AMA race for the past 3 years. Hopkins had a top 5 finish in championship points last year, so what are you talking about? The past two races he didn't finish due to mechanical failure!! And they are dumping alot of time and $$ into GP racing. It is called the screamer engine. Jebus.

2007 Final Standings:
1 Casey STONER 27 Ducati AUS Ducati Marlboro Team 367
2 Dani PEDROSA 26 Honda SPA Repsol Honda Team 242
3 Valentino ROSSI 46 Yamaha ITA Fiat Yamaha Team 241
4 John HOPKINS 21 Suzuki USA Rizla Suzuki MotoGP 189
5 Marco MELANDRI 33 Honda ITA Honda Gresini 187

Tiatool....Yeah but that doesnt mean he will be that good forever (take Nicky Hayden for example, that will probly his last time to win or even come close to a championship, just cause you do decent one year doesnt mean your always goin to be that good) and ya'll are leavin out West, another rider i had mentioned! What do yall have to say about him?.......and yes i believe hayden won AMA last year...not suzuki.

Oh you mean supersport? That would be another story. Just need to be a little more specific. In GP racing it will take some time before Hopkins adapts to his new team. Yes, I agree this year is disappointing, but it isn't totally his fault. As far as West, he is underperforming. Also, the tracks they have run so far this season are not his best performing circuits. His best shot at victory is in the wet, where West is considered a specialist. I would have to wait on making any decisions untill they can develop the new engine. Hopkins and West are basically riding last years bikes untill they finish testing on the new materials. But to say they aren't doing anything is not correct. With a new engine, I think at least Hopkins can be VERY competitive.

On a side note there were some rumors involving Rossi moving to Kawasaki, but they have been quashed with his recent wins with Yamaha!! GO ROSSI! HOORAY YAMI!!

I can't see West getting his contract renewed. Maybe another Hayden will move up considering Roger Lee has two wild card races this year if he can bounce back from his horriffic hand injury.

Sorry for the book.

Hopkins isn't bad AT ALL. He had been riding hurt from the crash at Philip Island and right when he was feeling better his chain snapped mid-race. I love Kawasaki and all(even have a Ninja tattoo) their GP bike isn't really on par with other bikes in the paddock. Sure it would be nice to have Hopkins jump on a bike he's never ridden and dominate, but those riders are far and few in between. Give him and Kawasaki a little time.

No comment on Ant West though.

Sorry for the book.

I could see Roger Hayden moving up as well if he does well at the two USGPs.

I would really like to see that. MotoGP could use another U.S. racer for two major reasons:
1st Collin Edwards has hinted he is going to either step down or retire from GP racing after this year. No wins. Kind of sad.

2nd With 2 U.S. races, the more american riders, the more likely we are to repeat the dates on the schedule. It is a shame this country finds it hard to get behind a foreigner, even though they are good. Just the way it is I guess.

ZX-Racer congrats to your sister graduating today!!

Oh he is. I think Schwantz is working on getting a satelite team from Suzuki featuring Spies. It is almost a done deal he will be leaving AMA and going either to WSBK or GP. Hey the more the better. Whatever it takes to get someone other than a Suzuki Yoshimura rider at the top two finishers is fine with me. Maybe it will spur Mladin to get out of HIS comfort zone and finally move on, as well.
