I saw that Lorenzo went down.....but that bad? Might have aggervated his ankles? To bad, not a great way to start off his first premier season......but he has been flying despite the inuries. Hope he recovers for the next round......

I wonder why everyone is going down? Midseason jitters? Trying to find that special set-up to keep with Rossi?

Probably just bad voodoo on practice day........let's hope it goes away by Sunday.:/:

That guy is running through plastics and parts like it's going out of style.

Lucky for him he's so freakin fast and talented......but that's part of the problem too.

`1. He suffered head trauma and lost consciousness. We made a neurological examination with a CAT scan and an MRI scan and from this we can confirm that there is no cranial haemotoma or haemorrage. However, he now needs to stay under observation for between 48 and 72 hours to see how this develops.
2. He sustained an injury to the 4th and 5th finger on the right hand, where he has lost some skin. He also has an abrasion of the extensor tendon. We need to see how this develops but it could be possible that he needs a small skin graft. 3. Various other bruises and grazes.

This morning we had a good session and things were going very well, we'd found a good base set up from which to work and we were quite happy with our progress. Then this afternoon started well but sadly after four laps we had another crash when Jorge lost the front at turn 11. He was going 130 km so it was quite a fast crash, but we checked the data and we can't see that he made any particular mistake. We were trying some different tyres and bike setting from the morning and we were feeling quite happy about how things were going so it's a great pity. Luckily he's avoided any further injury to his ankles, but the head injury means that he must undergo a period of rest and not take any further risks. We are very disappointed for Jorge, but the important thing now is that he has some rest and takes time to recover properly.

Man against man... I can't pick against Rossi. He has the mental edge over everyone right now. That being said, he did say he's having some gri problems thats keeping him from pushing.

Should be a good race... watch out for Toseland this time around.

I dont like Lorenzo, only because I think his attitude is way too self centered and he isn't very personable. I think he has GREAT riding skills, and he's certainly proved that he's got guts and heart. I'll give him that. Earlier in the week he stated that he felt that with his DNF at mugello that the title is out of reach and his comments and attitude were the exact reason as to why I can't stand him. At the time he was only 28 pts down and it's still early in the season. NOW with this accident ruling him out of the race, yeah that does seem more likely that his chances are slipping away since he will score zero points this time.

I expect Rossi and Pedrosa to be the top 2 this time, Dingo will be giving his all, BUT he's 46pts down on rossi, so I could understand him saying things like Lorenzo said this week, but he's still upbeat somewhat but I think he is dissapointed because everyone thought that he'd run away with the title again, which I'm glad to say isn't happening. I think MSR has wireless internet but I bet it's password protected. I'll be there when the race is going on so I could watch it live, and that would be cool to watch it live at the track before the riders meeting, but oh well. Should be a good battle between Rossi and mini-me.
