Cool Speed O Healer Crapped out on me

does anybody know what the warranty coverage would be on speed o healers?

the unit would work intermittently. When im on the road the Speed odometer would just go to 0 randomly and i narrowed it down to the unit. the wire is perfectly fine since i spliced it in 1 1/2 years ago with solder and Heat shrink tubes. i checked the wiring with a voltage meter and made sure there were no loose wires.

I don't know what the warranty is on the unit, we've never had any problems.

In some cases if it's an item we sold we can get the mfr. to warranty it even if it's out of the period.

Question though, why did you have to splice it in when your model is supported by a plug and play unit?

I'd contact who you bought it from and see what they can do for you.

the unit i bought was for a 99 r6 i think. i looking at the wiring schematic for my r6 and found the speed the sensor wire. It was easy enough to splice in

i bought it back in november of 06 used.

I had a 3 month old Speed-o-healer do EXACTLY what yours is doing. You have to contact Speed-o-healer directly, then they will have the USA distributor send you one as a warranty replacement. You have to send yours back to SH. I can't remember where they are, I think England.

Anyway, Cals Sportbikes is the USA distributor. You will get it within a week once you contact SH. The 2nd one I have has bee working well for the last 6months. I love Speed-o-healers.
