My first bike was a litre bike. Silly me! BUT, it was a 2003 FZ1. Then I got really stupid and put a full Yosh exhaust system with Dale Walker's Hole Shot Stage I jet kit and timing advancer, etc. Now, it's like the Greased Lightening. What a ride!

Not quite. I took pics of pics w/the cell phone. The Kat was new in 91, the ZX11 was 93 or so, think the pic is from 94.

BUSA was it, then I picked up a GSXR 1000 so I could mix it up a bit. I like the BUSA so much I got a second one.

05 1000RR. been having it for about a week. got it up to around 110 on a back road last night with ease. came from an 05 gixxer sixxer lol!!! man the power is just unbelieveable. 6th gear and just roll the throttle. no down shifting...ahhhhh.....

however, this thing can get you into trouble fast!!! unlike the 600,you close on cars and objects much faster.

rode an 04 r1 and it was pretty quick, but i stayed in like 6th gear most of the time becuase i just wanted to see how the weight diff. was between that and my 636

then i rode a 06 zx-10 and took it out for a ride with THC and it was quite fun TONS of torque and power out of nowhere. if you were down in 3rd or around there curising at highway speeds it just wanted to rocket!

and i rode a droped 05 gsxr1000 that was a pretty ride it was lowered 3inch's and if you tried to turn you had to really force it to turn but it would def still want to pick up the front tire even lowered 3 inches lol

My first litrebike was an aprilia RSV. It never really scared me until the first time I slipped the clutch a tad shifting from first to second at 9k rpm. The front came up, and stayed up.

my first big boy was a 96 thruimph daytona 1200. I had been riding about 17 years, put a d&d set of cans and stage 2 jet kit. that thing growled like nothing I or anyone else I knew had ever heard. too much torque, we called it the flying couch. it would break the back tire loose when I slipped the clutch. I was respectful, to say the least. went to the cbr 929, then to my current 07' R1, with more Patrick-related goodies than I can type. it picks the front tire up in 4rth. an excercise in unwanted wheelie control at all times. that leo vince from mid to rear screams while time stops as I fly by.

First one was a KZ900 if that counts. Pretty fast in it's day but about like a slow 600 these days (but with a lot more low end torque).

The first one I rode that really made an impression was a GSXR 1100 when they first came out. Power was pretty good and it could easily carry the front wheel in lower gears but the thing I found most impressive about it was that it was the first bike I had ridden that had a really good front brake.

First liter bike?

'84 1000 Interceptor.
Bought it new in 1984 and raced it in the WERA endurance series that same year.

Good times.

FWIW, I had been riding for 8 / racing for 6 years at that point.

My 03 cbr 954, dont think its a true litter bike but its close enough. I also ride my cousins 07 gsxr 1000 alot. we like to examine how different the handaling is on the two bikes. they both pull like no tommorow, i like my honda better in many cases, its corners lke a dream
