who uses bar end mirrors?

I HATE the stock mirrors on my sv650. Im thinking of getting some bar end mirrors like this
http://www.aztec8.com/catalog/c24_p1.html or
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Moto...ayphotohosting

who uses these? im seeing that there are some good looking brands like crg and some cheap looking brands that are all over ebay.

Patrick uses bar-ends on his Duc, and has a good reason for the brand he uses. Hit him up tomorrow and see what he can do for ya.
Oh, Patrick @ Motorcycles Unlimited is whom I speak of.

I use the CRG's on all of my naked bikes; Ducati, SV650 and Bandit.

I really like them and have never had any issues with them.

I use bar end mirrors on my SV650 also. Don't remember what brand, though.

I use CRG's but the smaller 2" blindsight mirrors like on the ebay link above (as opposed to the 3" CRG Hindsight mirrors). IMO go with CRG - I tried a pair of the knock-offs and you get what you pay for. The clamp screws on the knock-offs were some type of lightweight garbage material that snapped, before the clamps were tight enough to hold the mirror head from swiveling. I beleive the CRG bolts are SS - if not, they are at least a better grade material. I've had set of CRG's on my ZRX and ZX12 and never had a problem - better glass than with the knock-offs too.

I have a CRG on the left side and a Rizoma on the right side. It looks odd but the CRG is the convex type mirror and allow more like a "wide angle" view. The Rizoma mirror is flat and gives you a real image of what's behind at your right. Barend mirrors is the way to go in any bike...!!!

I got some convex ones temporarily on my bike, dunno the brand, bought them at cyclegear since they were just temporary, but I might just keep it that way. Clamps and everything works just fine, and the filed of vision is much better.

Only thing that It takes time is to get used to the new location.
