South Side ride sat jun 7

My buddy Daris has a ride set up for saturday. He is on another fourm and asked me if I would post it up here. We are going to meet at Whataburger on W. Grand Parkway in Sugarland. He has a route set up he says it looks good. Anyone wants to ride let me know. We will have breakfast for everyone before we roll. KSU at 9:00am.

Looks like I am clear for saturday. You got any ride details? I might try to hustle up a few others depending on the type of ride/group we are rolling with it. Post up some details and maybe others will sign up.

i just got this email from Daris
Hey everyone, i just road the route i have plannd out for sat ride, it was 85 miles! it starts off with nice paved streights with high speed left/right sweepers, then a to a fm road paved with no pot holes, lots of switch back twisties, ok now the bore! we will endure a somewhat long stretch of raod this time! almost like all the roads in houston long and stupid- but wait ????? i have saved the best for last my friends, this last fm raod is one on the coolist roads i have been on better than the national forest really!!!!! its not real long but fricken fun. They were mowing today so i hope the road will be clear of debre so we can eat up this beast of a road, this is a tight road that is covered by trees and at parts feels like you are in a tunnel, and the best part no side streets at this section so no worries about traffic, it took me one 1 hour and 20 min at a average speed of 80 mph with no stops so this should be a very nice first ride for SBM.

anyone has any questions give me a call 2817331185. looks like he has 6 people that are going for sure.

Well lets meet at Kroger's at 518/45 as usual, probably around 8:00a if we are suppose to meet the group in Sugarland at 9:00a. Lets see what Hollywood thinks but I would guess that meeting in League City at around 7:45-8a would be plenty of time to get to Sugarland.

I gotta work on my bike some tonight.....stupid elec. shifter is still messing up.

Not sure, I guess it depends on how long the ride is. If we leave Sugarland at 9:00a, then ride for say 2hrs, then an hour back to LC, I would say 12-12:30p is do-able.......you know how always runs over though. I gotta be home no later then 4p though.
