Question need to change plate bulb

I need to change the license plate bulb on my sons 89 gsxr-1100 can someone here tell me how to do this, I dont want to pry on the plastic cover and crack it..

And there are no screws anywhere? I am pretty sure the red plate doessn't come off. What about the silver cap underneath?

Just got it figured out, but thanks for the help.. there were 2 plugs that had to be removed in order to get at the screws, under the seat..
nice to have a plate light again.
