I don't think for a second anybody underestimated Rossi or the Bridgestones but Yamaha to their credit have stepped up and produced a bike that although no doubt built around Rossi, is capable of rostrums with any of the 4 factory riders on board.

True, it's no secret that Rossi knows how to develop a winning bike. I think Edwards has done a bang-up job of the same. I think that's all evidenced by the way Jorge and King James were able to jump right on them and do well!

Makes sense, Tech Trio with Edwards and Toseland- similar riding styles and built pretty similarly (size wise), same with Rossifumi and Lorenzo.

If they would all ride Bridgestones, I think it would be even better for them. Development-wise that is.

ABSOLUTELY, I became a bigger fan of his when he stuck it to Ducati and beat them on an "inferior" Japanese machine!

Besides Vermeulen, Toseland is one of my top favorite riders. Those guys may even make it to my top 10 of all time
