I am sure one or two will pop up on ebay if that thing does not make stateside. or I will just wait on the aprilla v4 bike or try to find an used 1098r. the market is awsome for hyperbikes like those right now.

mine is bigger than your's.

If it's in your budget get it. They are all close to being equals in comparisons.

uhhh... show me a ama ss bike with ohlins and marachini's? You must be thinking of the FX bikes. These threads are dumb the big 4 make all badass bikes and it's really what you prefer as far as looks and how it fits you.

IF you were to bring AMA into to the conversation the 600 SS bikes would be about as close to stock as you are going to get.

Heavy yes, underpowered no way. After owning both bikes and putting a decent amount of miles on each (>7k) I can tell you that the 07 ZX6R will make more peak hp than the RR. Build quality wise the Kawi blows away the RR, which I would have never expected, also the slipper clutch on the ZX6R is probably the best in its class. If you are going to be doing track days and racing I have no doubt that the ninja would be a better choice.

Let's be honest, anyone looking for a new 600 really doesn't care all that much about low end torque, and neither bike mention is comfortable.

There's a reason kawasaki has among the most loyal riders.
Actually the RR is by far the most comfortable bike I have ever ridden.

Get a 636 and forget about it. I put nearly 30000 miles on my 05. Never had a single problem -never even had to shim the valves. As far as build quality goes i dont see any differance in the big 4.

I ride my room-mates one a week (he's in iraq) to keep it in workin order.

I have a 07 R6

Confort wise, R6 all the way.

Power wise, R6 as far as I can tell, but then again i'm a lot more used to my bike than his.

I've ridden every 600 (07+) made by the big four. I've yet to ride the 08 R6 (which is "supposed" to be killer). I make my claim by riding them, not blind love for a single manufactor.

kauk construction is one of our customers. The two ladies are very nice.
