It's heavy and underpowered compared to the RR.

I have one and love it. Unless your a pro racer then I doubt you can tell the differences between the different brands. Plus they are cheap. Once you do the jumper mod they scream.

Everybody is goin to tell you that the best bike is the bike they have duh! thats like me sayin"oh yeah honda is the best brand, then suzuki and the kawi!" its never goin to happen! For the record i love my kawasaki zx6r and the only complaint i have about it is the famous gasket leak it has (but fixable and on warrenty) and that everybody loves to hate the kawis

Actually all the magazines were impressed with the build quality, and i've flogged one or two before, and other than missing power from the low end, it's a kick bike.

That's where you'll really appreciate the lil RR. It's a beast, even from 6-7k.

totally agree!!! once you get past mid 1st gear, then it screams past that.....but its not made to be a drag bike so the lag at take off isnt important to its performance dna

well it would definatly be just a street cycle but i feel i am pushing the limits of my bandit. i drag the pegs and its so heavy and ugly and old. bout to graduate i think it is time for somethin new. called around and kawasaki was a grand or two cheaper than anyone else.
