did you learn from riding a smaller bike? anybody will eventually be bored with a smaller bike but thats not what you buy it for. you buy it for experinece.

im guesssing the reason racerX asks all these questions is cuz most here have only had there bikes for 6 mos. and think cuz they have 5k miles on the bike they can give advice like they know. one example is is see all these "what tire should i get" threads and alot of people posting up suggestions and all they over owned was the OEM tire they have now.

know what im saying? you have to weed out the bad suggestions from the experienced ones. you learn from others mistakes.

I think what flip was talking about was his approach to helping ppl. Not that I'm speakin for flip, but I know that's the vibe I get from all of racerx's posts.

racerX is a asian man and has a syndrome below the waist that he needs to make up for. dont mind his approach but listen to what he says.

I say buy used if you have riddin b4 then buy a 600 if thats what you want but buy used i can not stress that enough and you will thank me later another good idea is to pay it off ya that meens you have to buy older and slower but you will be so much happier when you total it going a around a corner or drop it or whatever...

Do NOT BUY NEW

BUY USED

Look I wasn't suggesting anything and I stated that. Just sharing my experience as to how I aquired the bike and chose it.

If "plan to ever to a trackday" was you asking if I plan to ever attend a track day, the answer is yes, very soon indeed.

never answered the question..........

and if your gonna throw your $.02 in, might wanna throw in your experience in.......so he/she knows where your coming from. new rider w/ limited knowlwedge vs. old hat at riding.

your $.02 just may stear them in some direction that they didn;t need to go in.

everybody's opinion to a non rider counts. some opinions are more educated then others.........show how educated you are.

here;s your chance.......

http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...?t=5338&page=3

and since you have dirt experience, do you think your experience is comparable to somebody who's never ridden a bike before? and add that thought to your "recommendations"

Hmmmmmmmmmm.
If she's not smart enough to listen to you, what makes you think she'll listen to someone else, on a board no less?
Tell her she gets what she gets and if she doesn't like it she can go do her own thing and it up. Social darwinism. Can't save all the stupid people in this world, that's how my ex-wife got here.
