GP Composites is no longer in business. the endurance team i raced for in 05 & 06 was sponsered by them. it seemed to be pretty good stuff to me...

Morse Racing as Jody mentioned is out of business. They make a good set of bodywork that fits well, and is light. It's not the best on the market, but it's far from the worst. It's at the bottom of the best.

It was expensive bodywork to buy- a complete set new would cost north of $700 even if you got racer support.

How much are they asking? Any damage? How many times repaired? Who painted it and did they use an automotive paint system like basecoat/ clearcoat or did they rattle can it?

They are asking $650 but I think it's way too much...also the color will have to be changed...lots of sanding etc...that's just because I don't like the color

I can get you a brand new set of Attack Performance bodywork for not much more than that! It's clearly superior to the GP Composites bodywork too.

I wouldn't pay $650 for it, especially if you're repainting it.

There's other stuff out there to get. You're on the right track though

If you're buying used, stick with Attack Performance (arguably the best on the market) or Sharkskinz if you can. Don't get sucked in by the super low prices of the Ebay brands or the like, you won't be happy in the end if you are seeking quality and fit.

If they're in the condition pictured, and have never been repaired or have any visible damage, the $650 isn't bad. The first pic you showed doesn't look the same as the ones above though, and that would worry me. Maybe it's just the picture quality.

With fiberglass bodywork, "replacement parts" are not really that important. When you crash, you repair it, not replace it, so it really isn't an issue. If you destroy it to the point where you have to replace it, you can just get what ever brand you want because it will all likely need replacement!

Based on the first pic you showed of the upper fairing, I wouldn't pay more than $500 for it.

That's just me though, I know what a brand new set of Attack costs, and I would definitely go with that over some used bodywork that has a paint on it that I don't like.

Don't get me wrong, the Morse/ GP Composites is a good set of bodywork- there's better, but it's good stuff. Number of repairs and type of paint that's on it is the only other issue with it. If there have been no repairs, and it's got a good automotive style paint job (not rattle can), I'd probably pay up to $500 for it.
