ever since i've been riding, it bugs be that i get "black scuff marks" on my white shoes. i've had the r6 for 2 days and its marking my shoes!

i know i shouldn't be wearing tennis shoes and so on but sometimes i do and would like to not have black marks on them. i dont like em dirty.

Pick up a copy of Super Streetbike and look in the back. There ad's for covers that go over your shoe and ones now that go over the shifter too.

When i bought my bike the guy had a paper towel wrapped around and taped over shifter lever to prevent the marks on his shoes as well. I dont have a pair of white shoes so i took it off but he said it worked pretty well for him. Just kinda a cheap a quick fix option.

wear boots all the time when you ride, and you won't have a problem.

cycle gears carries a shifter padded fabric cover that protects your shoes from scratches--and the shifter itself in the event of a lowdown lol-- they are $8 or so.

Black riding boots ftw! I'll probably have to replace the boots when the rubber shifter pad on the left boot wears out, the tread on the bottom still looks new. lol
