some response on high mileage ninja

I am pondering on a ninja 500r... 2003 with 28k.... is this too much miles already.. should i find something with less mileage... just going to have this bike for a year for starter thanks

Nearly any bike will last. As long as it is properly maintained it will last for many many miles. SixShooter's R6 had around 44k on it when he sold it and ran like a top. Only problem is you have no way of knowing if the previous owner really did all the maintenance. Unless they kept receipts which many don't.

Engines are usually so well built my bet is you will be fine in the motor department. Most bikes are destroyed long before the motor is.

I have 18K on my K6 GSXR 600 bought brand new. Just a stator problem but found the problem fixed now.
