Is this right?

I've been pushing my 01' tiller more and more over the past week or so, reaching 140, 145, 150, 155, 160... today I decided to air it out and find out where it would top out at.... It hit 160 and I'm watching for it to rise.... but nothing...mabey 161 and some change that's it! I sure would of thought it woulda been a bit higher, at least 170 right? funny thing is it will do 160 in fifth and sixth gear... fifth gear/10.5k = 160mph sixth gear/ 9500 = 160. I'm thinking I may need to change the gear up a bit, Also I weigh bout 240....Anybody got any thought's ... or is this about right considering the bike, my weight, etc. :/:

Mid to low 160's is about all you will get. That is still plenty fast.

I had a GPS indicated 148 (IIRC it has been a couple of years) before my brain took control of my wrist and slowed me down. There was still some left in the bike.

that is about right for that bike. my rc would only hit 163(corrected) and it had a little more HP.

FM 2004 between Hitchcock & Alvin... super long straights, no traffic...perfect for sustained high speed passes.

Fixed!

Stop riding like that on public roads so we don't get another "RIP" thread
