to avoid alot of uncomfortable confrontations,when you list the bike,state in bold caps-SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY.NO TEST RIDES. this should keep all the joy riders away. be very careful about doing the deal away from home. you might end up getting jacked. in other words,your one gun can't shoot 4-5 other guns. you never know who else might be involved. i say do it at home or somewhere you have other people you know.
