Help with sticking throttle

Hey MotoHouston fam! I am having a problem with my throttle sticking after changing my grips. I used hairspray to get them grips to stick, not my throttle sticks. I cant be riding the RC like that. Any suggestions?

The throttle sleeve shouldn't be affected by the hairspray. Unless you spray into the opening. In any case, check to see if the grips is too long or your bar ends is restricting it. Loosen up the bar end and see if that solve the problem. If it doesn't then use the wd40 and a straw to spray the lubricant between the throttle and the bar end. The grip goes around the throttle sleeve and the throttle sleeve goes around the bar end. DO NOT spray lubricant between the grip and throttle sleeve, only sleeve and bar end.

make sure the grip is not on too far and touching the part where your switch is. maybe pushed them on too far. make sure there is a small gap
