... these threads are too common. Hopefully we find out what happened and we can at least learn from it. Thoughts to his family and friends.

RIP....everyone slow down out there....we ALL know your bike is FAST...you don't need to prove it!! Get out, wear your gear and enjoy it....it's a gift we all have that we can afford these toys to play with....but you can't buy a new life. Be safe and may the sun rise on your soul tomorrow!

I passed the scene about 2 minutes after it happened. They caught the light at 14th on Westpark doing 70-75, fast, but not an uncomfortable speed (and there were no cars around). I saw the white gixxer really messed up on the entracnce ramp and remembered the other white gixxer that wrecked last week. All four bikes were stopped but only two were rideable. A truck pulled up while I was passing the scene and he effectively blocked the right side of traffic. One biker was directing traffic around the accident and the other biker was checking on the rider down by the side of the road. ANother car driver was out of his car and on his cell phone. The situation was being handled adequately so, I kept rolling as did all the vehicles behind me that were getting on the freeway.

About two miles up 59, my RC conked out and stranded me just past 610 split on 59. Twenty minutes later, while waiting on my friend with a truck, the ambulance passed me by. I was thankful I was going home in a truck, not a bodybag.

I yes, a positive note, another biker stopped on 59 shoulder, turned around to check on me. That renewed my faith in bikers and our ability to help each other. Thanks to Pete for his truck help too!
