I was told by a scientists husband years ago.. that 1/2 OJ and 1/2 soda water mixed in a pint glass before you go to bed that it will greatly reduce your hangover...then he went into detail and explained it to me.. but i couldnt even begin to reiterate what he said

I would think actual orange juice, for the vitamin C and other supplements.

i still dont see how tylenol works? you have a headache from dehydration. i didnt think tylenol is a hydrator

minor aches and pain. headaches is the major reason since you cant just get re-hydrated and expect the head ache to go away.

ive heard of gatorade, ive heard of water before u sleep, ive heard of asprin before u sleep too,but most of the time if u end up getting a hangover is bc u drank too much so how can u remember to do this the night before when alcohol is pretty much a downer and all it does it make u wanna go to sleep, so if all that is in ur mind after u have been drinking is sleeping, how do u make sure u do these "remedies" before u go to bed??

ive also heard of going to a little taqueria when u have a hangover and order some tacos al carbon or some fajitas and spice the out of them , seems like mexican food is better to eat for a hangover

Hangovers occur because your brain is basically dehydrated. The best thing you can do to PREVENT a hangover is to drink AT LEAST equal amounts of water to the alcohol you drink. If you don't, for whatever reason, then drink A LOT of water before you go to bed.

It's like cures for hiccups - everyone has one. As long as you know the science behind it, you can prevent it.

The cause of hiccups, btw - a disruption in your breathing pattern, thus causing spams in your diaphragm. The best way to get rid of the hiccups is to try to somehow re-synch your breathing. The way I do it is to take a couple of deep breaths then a short breath then return to normal breathing. If it doesn't work, I repeat until it does. It typically only takes 3-4 times.

If you think about it, all "cures" for hiccups have a commonality - the all seem to affect breathing in one way or another. I just think people try to make it too complicated!

'Sorry to hijack - was simply trying to educate you young'uns
