Helmet, long pants, gloves 100% of the time. Riding shoes and jacket 99% of the time.

I went to the store the other day wearing sneakers and just a t-shirt, vs. jacket and riding shoes, and it felt really weird. Kinda like not wearing a seatbelt feels weird. It might be a mile each way to the store.

I wear backprotector 100% knee pads 95% gloves 100% boots 70% Jacket used to be 100% but it's been to hot lately. I'm not used to this heat being from Wisconsin. Now I wear my jacket 80%.

Helmet + Jacket + Gloves are a bare minimum for me. I wear my boots 99.9% of the time (There were a few times my boots were wet from the rain so I wore tennis shoes). Occasionally kneepads and every now and then tactile pants.

A* makes noice boots, but if you dont want to drop that much coin, give Patrick at Motorcycles Unlimited a call. He can get you a hook up on some Set-Up boots.

Icon makes some leg armour that can fit under a pair of "regular" pants. I have used them before, but have not (thankfully) had to test their durability.

Pretty sure they have them at Cyclegear.

The only way I got my wife to agree with getting a bike was to promise that I would always wear full gear ...

FF Helmet
Gloves
Leather armored jacked (fully perforated)
Motoport Kevlar mesh overpants (riding into work)
Cortech DSX riding jeans (armor at the knees plus leather on the inside) for casual riding.

Usually jeans, golves, boots, jacket, and helmet. But since I bought the one piece leather suit...I wear it on long rides. NEVER do I wear a t shirt, shorts, or tennis shoes. Got a family at home and a mommy who loves me dearly. I owe it to them.
