could be. I dont know about most.

No one wants average or low trade in on thier bikes. Or at least I didn't. I know you only pay tax on the difference but that doesn't do much.

I would actually have to agree with a couple posters.. CL is full of people that are extremely proud of their and its not only in Cycles, etc.

I would have probably responded by asking him what a GBR was??? If you cannot get the name right I am sure you don't have the foggiest clue as to what its worth.... :/:

I sold it. I am just too lazy to delete it. Sold it for 5100.00. Fair price for mint bike. $400 above low retail was 4200.00.

not neccessarily. most dealerships wouldn't give squat for any vehicle, not just bikes, for trade-in no matter what condition its in. they're a middleman and have to make money off your trade-in as well.

Everyone is looking for a deal. I wouldn't hate on the guy for that.

Besides, the only reason that it would you off is because you let it. That's just the opinion of some dude that you've never met and will likely never meet, there's no reason to get worked up about it.

Be happy it wasn't one of those scam emails where they tell you they'll pay you $1000 more than your asking price etc. etc. etc.

+1 to that. Some people get desperate to sell and will take a low(er) offer.

If a person offers something to sell they should expect lower offers from others - thats just business.

Stealers will take in anything that you would want to trade, the question goes down to, do you want to give it away?

Eximport has a strange way of doing business. It's not a good experience. Don't waste your time talking to the "salesmen" walking the floor or asking how much they want for a bike. Go strait to the sales manager and make him an offer. He's the one making the decisions. I forget the guy's name but his office is one of the last doors on the wall on the right.
And you will always get more for your vehicle if you sell it yourself than if you trade it in. For () sportbikes it's usually a 2k-3k $ difference.
