motard question?

this may sound dumb, but is there a way to legalize a 4stroke dirtbike for road use? I see all sorts of motards that are lookin more and more like dirtbikes. I thought it would be neat to have a converted bike for town cruising. it seems with a inspection sticker you can legalize anything down here. any ideas?
