shoot it was bucking at any speed. Once it was heated up real nice, about 25 miles, then it would buck at whatever speed, even on the interstate...

Flame- extra unburned fuel igniting

Popping(like the lean harley noises)... Air bypassing the exhaust tip... the exhaust isn't coming out uniform to it builds, releases, builds, releases.

Is that an oil pressure or oil level light?

When you turn the bike off, the oil recedes to the oil pan and the sensor would be submerged again. Heat also increases resistance so when you come to a stop its possible the sensor starts giving out or a loose connection becomes worse.

Does it back fire on accel or decel?

When's the last time you changed your air filter?

Does it do it more when it's hot or cold?

That lead to a burnt exhaust valve if it is bad. Mine will do it with the A/M exhaust in first if I slowly let it out down to an idle.

If the oil is low, there isn't enough volume to create the pressure but I would expect that to be an issue while riding. May just be a sensor issue; worst case senario the oil pump isn't producting as much pressure as before at idle. If you raise the idle just a little using the thottle does the light go out? Im talking a small 500 or 1k rpm difference over idle.

If I downshift and end up in high revs it will give a lil flame on mine every now and then.

Probably nothing, but if you're still concerned, bring it by and we'll test drive it, no charge.

Mine popped out the exhaust on decel. I read that it was pretty common when putting on an aftermarket exhaust without the cats. I blocked off part of the air injection system that sends air from the airbox to the cats and the popping is almost completely eliminated.
