Question 50 Sprockets

Looking at changing sprockets on the fiddy. Likely to 40-41 tooth rear. Anyone know how long of a chain I will need? Will 100 link be enough or do I need more?

What would be the difference in going with that instead of the stock 14? I mean torque/acceleration wise? Not really worried bout it. Chains are cheap so no biggy. Then if I want to go to a 13 all I gotta do is take some links out of my pretty gold chain.

It's like going up 3 in the back without fkn with the chain and it's easy to swap back to stock for a little more speed if need be .

True. Hmmm....what to do what to do. The great thing about the phiffty. This is so cheap I could order all the different sprockets and mix and match til I find what I like and still not spend what it would cost to change sprockets and chain once on the big bike

I have a 13 you can try out if you dont want to buy one. Stock gearing is the best on stock motor imo

I will have to take you up on that offer sometime soon Josh. Ordered a 41 rear and a 102 link chain yesterday. So I may just install that see how it goes and then if it is too much try out the 13 front.
