Went down today =(

Just some road rash on both of my knees and on my belly

Thanks to the guys that stayed with me till my dad showed up I think their names are Jim and Jeff.

On to the story, some guy on a cruiser was taking the turn really wide outside the yellow lines, I was about to enter the turn and when I saw him, I thought he was going to come at me head on. By the time he passed me by I was already too late to lean and take the turn, locked the front brake and there I go, sliding on top of the pavement and onto the grass.

Gear saved my head, upper body, elbows, forearms, and hands from some serious road rash

On the other hand the 250 is trash Ill post some pics later.

Sorry to hear about the bike. Is it repairable? Full coverage?

Tank was leaking gas, bent forks, handles, lots of broken stuff, the bike actually hit some huge concrete sewer thing. no full coverage, just liability.

Guess I had to be there to completely understand the situation but it seems there's a possibility that you were not in your correct lane position to take the turn. Outside, inside, outside. Not trying to knock on ya. glad you walked away from it all

That sucks about the bike but its good to hear you're ok.

If he was about to take the turn, he was on the outside, so was the cruiser going wide through the turn, but in esharok's lane. Seeing the cruiser head on made him delay his reaction and took the corner too late

At least you're okay to tell us about it..Thats all that matters. Bikes are replaceable, humans arent.

Right, like I said though, I'd have to be there to completely understand, he said he was ABOUT to enter the turn, people can define about differently.
He never said he was on the outside.

Dude, calm down, I said I'm not trying to knock him. I'm seeing what exactly went wrong. Other people may read this and learn from his situation.

Thanks for the I needed it. Happy ending next time?
