Speed Racer Movie

Saw it tonight with Amy and Tristan. Was pretty good, but you might get a slight headache with the flashy race sequences. Good story of good vs. evil corporate empire stuff. Spridel and Chim Chim are as good as the original cartoon, and John Goodman as Pops is choice. Kept waitting for teh "no no Speed don't do it it's much too dangeroous!"
Christina Ricci as Trixie was looking pretty hot, and strangly like Susan Sarrandon who played Mrs. Racer.
Over all I'd give it a 5........

Was it really good? I'm a manager at the Pearland movies and nobody I've seen come out of it liked it. We have 2 copies of it and both of them combined still can't beat iron man sales even after it was out a week. I guess I'll have to see for myself

Check out this link...

http://davidmovie.com/

Hit cancel when it ask you to download Zango, it will take you back to the link page, click the link again and the movie starts. It has Chinese captions but it's not bad if you want to see the movie.

Heck buck gave it a 5/10 that right there told me to wait to rent it. I am getting tougher on movies. I don't want to waste my time or money unless it is a 8 or better. Iron Man was worth the ticket price IMO.

I will probably rent Speedy but I won't go see it at the theater.

Saw it yesterday at Edwards IMAX. Took awhile to get used to the tempo of the film. Like the other said, lots of flashy parts. Kids loved it.
