Pirelli Diablo Supersport Tires...

Just as an FYI.... Cyclegear is having a package sale for the Pirelli Diablo Supersports now... you can preorder them and have them by next week...

http://www.cyclegear.com/spgm.cfm?L1...kg_G&tier2=219

Being a noob I don't have a lot of experience with motorcycle tires... how are these for commutes and freeway riding? I don't do any stunts and stuff like that... just my weekend toy for riding around town and enjoying a few curves down memorial or crabb river rd...

I'm interested in finding out people's experience with these tires as far as dry/wet grip and wear/durability is concerned.

Crappy for mileage. Don't expect more than 2500 miles out of the rear...

Once you go to a soft compound tire it is hard to go back to a touring tire since you miss the grip you had from before. It sux cuz will make your back pocket alot lighter.

As for dual compound rear, I love the corsa IIIs; over 5k miles and rear tire center is low, about 40% to go. Four trips to galveston, one to austin, upwards of 6 forest/3090 rides, two drag days and all the around northside hopping we do...
