Ben Spies to get MotoGP Wildcard Slot

I don't know if this is old news but I just saw it. Pretty cool tho - Best of luck to Spies! Lap time wise he's down there on the list (like 13th out of the GP riders) at Laguna Seca but I guess it really matters on the starting postition if he's going to make the top 10.

Hope he can help Suzuki get to the front of the pack and become a contender. I sure want to see them win a few!!

I think that laptime wise - is on a AMA shod bike..

the real test will be when he's down on 200cc and then equipped with Carbon Fiber massive braking power... that and the "can i get over flying" - should be his two biggest challeneges..

Suzuki did confirm him to ride @ Laguna and Indianpolis this year...

He's going to have to get over it.

His chances just got much better for some "flight time".

Actually an interview with him reminded me of this cause he said that he can't compete in GP cause he is too big. I don't think is 100% all his hight and weight fault but it makes a difference. he is also one of my fav. riders.

Xaus
167 - 6.0

Sounds like a Texan to me?

I'm sure he's big a$$ will be something he'll have to deal with on the GP machine. But I doubt that will be tooo much of a problem. He seems to move his "m" pretty darn well.

I think it would be easier if Matt was going too you know.
When Schwantz and Rainey broke cover no one else existed in their races

I'm not sure if there would much of the same fight between the two, that we get in the AMA series.
