Exclamation Read This and Think

After attending Jesika's wake last night I began to wonder all night what if that was me in the coffin. What more drug me down is the fact of that what if one of my close friends was in that coffin. Guys all I got to say is (this sounds fatherly) but use your brain when you are riding. Do not take chances that you know your riding abilities can not deal with. Seriously I probably met Jesika once. You know it choked me up to the point where I could not sleep last night. I dont want one of my friends in that situation because honestly I dont know what I would do. A side note my friend Claudia in Clearlake who rides called me right after we were leaving the wake last night and explained to me she had just gotten into a wreck. You know what no f------ helmet and she flipped over the car. Claudia and myself ride together alot and are very close friends. that hit a sour note with me as well because first hand it hit me how my life could be turned upside down because of one of my friends mistakes. She is ok only a few bruises. Remember guys we are 1%s meaning there are a ton of more cars and trucks than us motorcycles. Please be careful cause honestly these kind of things are hard to deal with and I never want to have to go to one of these friend or not. AJC

that makes basically 2 from this board that have died this year. 1 was on the board, and jesika might not have been, but it seems she was pretty well known.

earlier this year, i predicited that at least 1 person from this board would die......i'm still gonna predict 1 more before the yrs up.........lotsa riding to do.

been to too many, and know of so many more........since i stopped hanging w/ teh squid crowd, haven't been to a funeral for like 2 yrs......before it was 1-2 a yr.......

get used to it, if you choose to hang w/ that elemant.

as much as you stress safety to save lives it sure seems like you don't care a whole lot when someone dies, usually just pointing out their mistakes.

people die everyday..........going to a benefit ride this weekend for a 8 y,o. girl that died from basiclly cancer..........many i feel bad about, many i don't........and like i said, hang out in that element, and you'll see plenty of death......

people need to learn from these lessons of people dieing, but they don't.

but when you have a bunch of people mourning and just paying respects and then you jump onto the thread with the MSF and how they themselves over, it sort of seems disrespectful.

Helmets are no guaranty but since I am addicted I would like to keep my odds a little better. Oh, and if anybody ever rides with me on a SMR you will take notice of the full gear. Bikes are no joke and as soon as you forget that you will get owned.

somebody else commented that she took the MSF as if that was supposed to have saved her life. good for her, she still made a bad choice......she was an adult.

there are old riders, there are bold riders..........there are no old bold riders. that also applies to passengers and pretty much any "extreme" sport.
